Veterinary Team

Stephane Farmer, DVM

Dr. Stephane Farmer has been practicing veterinarian medicine since 1995 when she graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. After numerous years of performing emergency medicine, Dr. Farmer decided to open Perky Paws Pet Hospital with the goal of bringing her confident, compassionate bedside manner to both patients and their parents. Dr. Farmer enjoys the challenge of diagnosing and treating diseases, as well as performing surgery and maintaining animal health by using preventative medicine. She knew from the day she was born that she would be a veterinarian; that is of course if she couldn’t magically become a cat. Her commitment to animal care is enforced with memberships of Texas, American, Collin County, and Dallas Veterinary Medical Associations. Her words to live by—Go big or Go home! And she does. She is professionally passionate about doing things the right way every time, 100%. Petting and feeding animals gives her the most joy in life and is something she will do for the rest of her days.

Greg Bobo, DVM

Meet Dr. Greg Bobo!  He is an Associate Veterinarian on our staff and as he is new to us, he is definitely not new to Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bobo was born and raised in Texas.  He moved from Dallas to Pilot Point when he was 7 years old.  His parents had race horses and he and his brother started showing cattle in junior and high school.  Interactions with their DVM solidified his desire to go to vet school. Dr. Bobo graduated Texas A&M Veterinary College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. He has been in practice since and absolutely is loved in the community.  Although he thoroughly enjoys his life as a DVM, he does say in another life, he was more than likely a race car driver!   While loving tinkering around, traveling, live music and off road adventures, he is mostly passionate about his wife and kids.

He married his high school sweetheart in 1993 and had three amazing kids, Hayden, Jack, and Darby. Currently they all live in Raleigh, NC so him and his lovely wife try to get out there as often as time allows. Dr. Bobo moved to Frisco in 2000 and opened his own practice in 2003. After 13 years, he sold the practice but continued to work there until 2021 when he made the difficult decision to leave. He is excited to call Perky Paws his new home and the feeling is mutual!

Molly Matricardi, DVM

Meet Dr. Molly Matricardi. She is a part time associate DVM on our staff but started here years ago as a technician.  She was pretty sure she would be an Olympic runner when she grew up but we are so excited she took a different path.  After graduating veterinary school, she came on board with us and an emergency clinic as well.  Her passion is to learn and grow everywhere she can so that she can be a very well rounded veterinarian for her patients and clients. Dr. Matricardi has two Samoyeds, Pearl and Diamond, and a cat named Olivia! We have been so fortunate to have her join our family and we are looking forward to her bright veterinary future.

Layne Sager, DVM

Meet Dr. Layne Sager!  She is a relief Veterinarian that you can find here every Wednesday and Thursday. She has been with Perky Paws since 2019 and has been a DVM since 2007.  She said if she could write her own job title, it would be… “Jack of all trades, master of none,”  but we don’t think she gives herself enough credit…she is definitely the master of loving on dachshunds! At age 5, she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and after graduating from Texas A&M Veterinary College of Veterinary Medicine, she fulfilled her dream.  She loves to travel, cook and bake, and has an affinity for fine wines.  Her passion for animals is beautiful and she is an amazing veterinarian who believes in best practices and preventative measures to ensure quality of life in all of her patients.
